The Student Grades management module allows schools to publish the grades of each student for each subject viewable by authenticated parents and students and managed by faculty members and administrators.

The Joomla-based module can be installed just like any other Joomla component with a single click using the Administration console of the site. The default Joomla user registration has been enhanced with custom registration forms for parents and students. Parents will be able to enter the email Ids of their student(s) and students will be able to pick the class for which to register.

Once the user registrations are over, the administrator can create courses and associate faculty members with these courses. Each course (subject/class) is owned by a faculty member who can feed in a file containing the student grades in an XML format. We also have an Excel spreadsheet based template from which the XML file can be generated.

Alternately, a user interface is available by which the administrator can prime the system one course/student at a time.  This is described in detail here.
